Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Bucket app and website. By creating an account or using Bucket, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Bucket
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Arab Emirates to use Bucket. By using it, you confirm the information you give us is accurate and that you’re allowed to connect the biller accounts you add.
2. Your account
You sign in with UAE PASS or a verified phone number. You’re responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure. Enabling biometric lock is recommended. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. What Bucket does
Bucket brings your household’s bills into one place — it fetches bills you connect, reminds you when they’re due, highlights duplicate subscriptions, and lets you pay. Bucket is not a bank and does not itself hold your money. Payments are processed by licensed payment partners; the underlying service (electricity, telecom, subscriptions, etc.) is provided by the relevant biller under their own terms.
4. Bills & payments
- You’re responsible for the accuracy of the account numbers you connect and for the bills you choose to pay.
- When you enable auto-pay, you authorise Bucket to initiate payment of the connected bill on its due date through a licensed payment partner, until you turn it off.
- Bill amounts and due dates are provided by billers or aggregators; while we work to keep them accurate, we can’t guarantee a third party’s data is always complete or current.
- Payment timing and success depend on your payment method and the partner’s and biller’s systems.
5. Fees
Any fees for using Bucket or for a payment will be shown to you clearly before you confirm. If no fee is shown, none applies to that action.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use Bucket to break the law, to access accounts you’re not authorised to use, to interfere with or attack the service, or to reverse-engineer or misuse it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
7. Intellectual property
Bucket, its name, logo, and software are owned by us. Biller names and logos belong to their respective owners and are shown to help you identify your bills.
8. Disclaimers
Bucket is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that third-party data will always be accurate. You remain responsible for your bills and payment obligations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bucket is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by a biller, a payment partner, or inaccurate third-party data outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or where required by law. You can also stop using Bucket at any time.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the UAE courts.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use Bucket after changes means you accept them.
